KIDS

POPKids is the name of the Children's Ministry at Prince of Peace.

What happens at POPKids? We desire that each child will grow in knowing God, not just knowing about God. Our hope is that they see their story in God’s Big Story and understand how God has been working all through His-story to bring us back into a relationship with Him.

How do I get my kids involved? Come and visit! There’s no need to register before you visit, but you can email Jennifer, our Family Ministry Director, or call the church office at 847-359-3451 to let her know you are coming, and ask her any questions you may have. When you’re ready to register, use the link below.

Early Childhood

Our youngest students get a big overview of the Bible through lessons that are play-based. The goal for this age group is to get them comfortable coming to POPKids and making new friends while learning that God loves them very much!

Elementary

At POP, we want kids to have a better future, one where three things happen: they grow deeper in their faith, build stronger relationships, and make wiser choices. POPKids takes its cue from what Jesus said: “Love God with all your heart, and your neighbor as yourself.” POP wants every kid to trust in Jesus in a way that transforms how they love God, themselves, and the world around them. To this end, POPKids elementary students are part of small groups of their peers on Sunday morning, connected to consistent adults who can guide their spiritual growth.
